Trophy Board: Cole Scott
Name: Cole Scott, 8, Omaha.
Species: Ring-necked pheasant.
Where: A southwest Iowa farm.
Additional information: Cole
has been walking on hunts with his father, Dale, since he was 5. This
is the first season he has been allowed to carry a shotgun, and this
was the first pheasant he ever shot.

David Paitz's dog, Sydney, was named Rookie Dog of the Year for
2005 by NSTRA Midwest Region. After entering a handful of trials her first
week out, Sydney placed fourth. In her last trial, she had three scorable
finds in both fields, but moved six birds in each. M'Kayla
Stahr received "Best Junior Handler" award in Des Moines, IA on
January 22, 2006. This brings her total of First Place wins to
FIVE for the 2006 Eukanuba Classic qualifying year! M'Kayla and her
dog, Ru, attended the International Eukanuba Classic in Tampa, FL. Approximately
170 junior handlers were qualified and attended the show. |
